PLAST VCI
ADDITIVE
PLAST VCI MB PE is made with Volatile corrosion inhibitors which are organic materials that protect metals against corrosion by emitting vapors. VCIs are blended in PE resin & other processing aids at a very high concentration level to get the required corrosion resistance in the poly film used in packaging of metal parts. Our VCI MB is used in PE films used for packaging of metal components, it provides corrosion protection during various stages of operations, handling , storage & transportation.
PROPERTIES:
- Combination of contact and volatile vapour anti-corrosion additives to represent efficient corrosion inhibition system for protection of metals.
- Combines properties of PE resin and VCI chemicals.
- Provides protection during storage and transportation.
- VCI Masterbatch useful at delay & stops corrosion/rusting.
- Transparent film provides see-through benefit for packed product.
PROPERTIES:
- It acts by a combination of volatilization from a VCI's, vapor transmission in a closed environment and condensation onto surface that includes absorption,dissolution & hydrophobic effects on metal surfaces, where corrosion of metal surfaces is thereby inhibited.
- It is ROHS compliant , free from nitries and amines & imparts clean surface on metals.
- Complies with ASTM B 117 standard .
- Free of nitrites and secondary amines.
- Impart clean surface to work unlike oil and grease anti-corrosive treatments.
