Anti Slip Additive
Solution for stacking and Antiskiding
PLAST ANTISLIP MB 121 PE is based on inorganic actives to create micro roughness on film surfaces, increases Coefficient of friction & prevents slippage of PE, PP Films in contact with each other. It’s used in PP based high thickness bags like Woven Sacs, PE based bags for food & industrial applications to create a sandpaper-like surface modification of thick films(>80 -100 microns). Also it’s used in antiskid surfaces, Injection & Blow molding applications.

It belongs to the catergory of High molecular weight polyethylene
based on inorganic actives to create micro roughness on film
Surfaces which increases COF and prevents slippage of polymer
Films in contact with each other. In a few cases organic actives
are also used for specific applications. In general, polymers have average coefficients of friction, but not as high as desired for anti-slip applications.
Unique Application
Anti-slip additives are better known as compounds that work directly opposite to Slip additives ( ie) internal lubricants. They make it more difficult to move a surface beyond another surface. By and large it is used for making high thickness bags like Woven Sacs, high thickness LDPE bags .It is approved for food contact applications also.
A few industrial applications requires high thickness PE bags with extremely high anti slip features, hence the production of films with rough surface is produced by achieving a very limited slip effect between the surfaces
