Synthetic fibres made from Polypropylene and other polymers are playing an increasingly important role in the textiles industry. Synthetics have many advantages over natural fibres: they are much stronger, they dry quickly, they have faster colours, they are not easily effected by moisture, chemicals or bacteria, and they are generally cheaper.
